VL2 to VL3 converter utility

Hi

I have uploaded a new version that should now operate, on some systems the converter was unable to create the folders needed, not too sure why as I could not replicate here, I have changed the installer so that the installer will also create the folders required.

Hello everyone,
I've just bought a VoiceLive 3 unit and wanted to convert my custom presets from my old Voicelive 2. Had already an .syx file saved on my HDD so I downloaded the sutility software and made it run. The first thing that pops up is an error message that says
"Unable to create file "D:\....|Voice_Live_Editor|Import_Export|vl3_std_conv_presets.syx"

Don't know what that means but....

Secondly, when I try to drag and drop the syx file, the presets get listed...I can select them, and everything seems fine. On the right side the VL3 preset to use for Guitar Effects asks for a Drag and Drop as well. I made one and put it there. Folder to store Converted Presets says : CONV_FOLDER_LABEL

When I try to push on the start button I get another error : Invalid File name
