Thank you! It helped perfectly and I've been doing it all afternoon. To clarify your answer a little better in case anyone else reads this and wants to do the same thing, when you drag the vocal preset or guitar preset to the new blank preset you've created, you want to drag it to the top box in either the "ACTIVE VOCAL EFFECTS" or "ACTIVE GUITAR EFFECTS" part to copy the entire vocal or guitar layer part of one preset into your new preset. It took me a few minutes of playing around to get this, but works great! Thanks for your prompt reply; I really appreciate it. voiceliveeditor.com/media/kunena/emoticons/smile.png

Hi
A Quickway to create a completely new based based on others.
1, Drag The 'Blank Preset' into an 'Empty Slot' This creates a Preset which has one step and valid preset info.
2. Double click the newly created 'Blank Preset'
3. Click the Save button, you can now rename this preset and change the genre tags for it. then click save.
4. If you want the entire vocal layer from another preset, drag this preset, you will see the effect names border change to yellow, but also the title All Vocal Effects, All Guitar Effect If you drop the preset onto one of these it will transfer the complete vocal/guitar layer.
Hope that helps

I have a quick question. Is it possible to copy the vocal layer of one preset onto say either another preset, or a blank preset, or the guitar layer, so that one could easily build custom presets from the guitar layer from one preset combined with the vocal layer of a different preset. If so, how would I do this using your VL 3 editor? Thanks!
