Hi

I have hopefully worked out the sysex changes and applied to Editor, the editor should now work with both 1.1.03 50 and the NEW 1.2.04 56 Firmware.

Please download version 2.2.1a of the Editor.

If you are not noticing the change in the firmware ie the alteration to the Tone Style, then you could go back to previous firmware.

Hopefully when TC send the info requested, it should only take a few days to check/change the altered values and allow the editor to work with Both firmwares?

Cheers

I did upgrade to the latest firmware version 1.2.04 B56, so I should hold off running the program until you get the modified sysex values from TC for the Firmware?

PS Thank you for your quick response.

Hi

The Editor requires firmware 1.2.03 B50, TC has just released a new firmware which will not work with the editor and cause it to crash. I am at the moment awaiting the modified sysex values from TC for the Firmware that they have released.

If you are using firmware 1.2.03 B50, then it maybe that your system has a know windows 7 64 bit midi issue, to correct this, if you go to the utilities section in the downloads and download/install and run the my MIDI CLeaner program, remove any duplicate midi drivers, and click which ever buttons are highlighted and follow instruction. Unplug GTX, restart PC, when restarted connect GTX and try the editor again.

Hi

The first to check is that your GTX Midi is set correctly, the Editor needs to take full control of the GTX so on the GTX make sure the following are set.
Midi Cntrl USB
Filter NONE
Sysex ID 0 (Zero)
Midi Channel 1
CC Channel 1

Once these are set, restart the Editor, it should display then within a 2 seconds should start reading the presets from the GTX.

Hi.
Oddjobman here.

A little help here. Downloaded your program late last night and did not have time to open and use. Opened today with windows home seven 64 bit. and received this message about 20 seconds after the program opens. VOICELIVE Play Editor has stopped working A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. Disheartened as I really like this idea. Tried uninstalling and re-installing as administrator but still get same message. Any ideas?
