The switch 3 is a external hard-wired switch, it does not do anything midi wise. So the editor will not see it as anything special. the VLT will send out a preset change message when a preset is changed via the switch 3, which will mess up the setlist in the live screen.

The VLT1 Editor does support External MIDI Controllers, where you can program a midi foot-switch to do a whole range of functions for the editor or separately in the live screen.

hi all - should also have asked - how does the editor work with switch-3 pedal. can it control some aspect of the set list function, etc? cheers R-T
