Editor Download for more than one PC

The Editor should work on all Windows pc from Windows XP to Windows 10 in both 32 and 64 bit versions.

I just picked up the VLT (1) and now I'm ready to purchase and download the editor.

I have an old Windows Vista laptop (but I understand that editor is nor compatible with Vista). That leaves me with a Windows 8.1 convertible notebook/tablet. If I download and install editor on this pc, when I upgrade to new pc will I need to purchase editor again or is there a way to deactivate the old pc, then install editor on the new pc (without a second purchase?
