VoiceLive Play GTX Editor Released

idc replied the topic: VoiceLive Play GTX Editor Released

Hi Herve,

I will check the setup for mic control, an update is due very shortly which will address the oddity.

Normally when I edit an effect I like to have the effect active so that I can hear the changes.

IF you click an effect that is not active then the effect will become active, if you have hit activated then the effect only becomes active in the HIT state.

If you go into the config menu, and click the button Display Hit/On Highligts button, the display will highlight the effects dependent on whether they are ON or HIT On, not sure if that will help you though.

Cheers

Ian

Hi Ian,

playing with the free GTX now before purchase and would like to report a small bug:
-in the Setup with a MP-75 mic or e835FX mic, the list for Mic Controldoes not match the GTX (maybe ok for another model).
Hit & Tap should be Preset Up
Hit Moment should be Loop
the other ones are rightly disabled

On the interface, I have this comment when editing a preset: I think that when selecting an effect (Mod, Delay, Reverb, ...) it should not default automatically to ON but stay at the status it was. Ie- if it was OFF, it stays off but shows all the parameters including the HIT+ and ON targets that I would then choose. If it was on HIT, it should stay on HIT rather than change to ON, I wanted to change some parameters, not the way it operates.

This is great, I wondered why TC Helicon did not have something like this of their own. As you seem to be working well with them, you should be a bit more present, only found you by chance!

Hi Smokinjohnny,

I am pretty sure that the information displayed in the Practice TAB is not available for interrogation via MIDI, I will attempt and see if there is a way to get the information.

In which way is the Version Number obscured.

Mine appears like this

Hi Ian, Haven't much time to play with it yet, one thing, will you be adding the "Practice" tab to monitor and possibly save vocal performance records. (unless I missed this somewhere?), Not major thing but I don’t quite see the version # in bottom left corner, seems it’s a little over lapped by window.

Cheers

Version 1.0.2g uploaded Changes.
1)Experimental Device Detection if Windows XP is Detected
2)Guitar Section (Text) made a bit bigger ( Just for Boogsy)
3)If editor detects a preset that it is editing has invalid parameters,
It now will display a box, detailing these and request user to check and correct these,
Previously it would do all funny things. Very Very rare.

Enjoy the changes, please report any issues.

Full Version due shortly.

Thanks for these changes!
Makes a real difference to me.
suggestion for the full editor - guitar parameter title text enlargement? editing with guitar and mic means being a bit further from the screen and i have to squint to see these guitar fx titles.
can't wait for the full version!

good luck with the Voicelive 3 editor ;)
